In Cricket, South Africa will resume their first innings at the overnight score of 269 for 6 against India on Day 2 of the Centurion Test today. When the stumps were drawn yesterday, skipper Faf du Plessis on 24 and Keshav Maharaj on 10 were at the crease. South Africa had won the toss and opted to bat. With Aiden Markram's 94 and Hashim Amla's 82, the hosts had dominated the proceedings, before India bagged three wickets in three overs to close the day on a positive note. Ravichandran Ashwin scalped three wickets, while Ishant Sharma took one.This is the second Test of the 3-match series. South Africa had won the first Test at Cape Town by 72 runs.
