Centre's interlocutor for Naga peace talks RN Ravi arrives in Kohima

The Centre's interlocutor for Naga peace talks R N Ravi arrived in Kohima yesterday evening for discussions with all sections of the Naga civil societies and MLAs on the Naga political problem.<br/><br/>Mr RN Ravi called on Nagaland Governor PB Acharya at the Raj Bhavan, Kohima. Mr Ravi said Sovereignty lies with the people and the relationship between India and Nagas would be on the basis of sharing of sovereign power.<br/><br/>Mr Acharya congratulated the interlocutor for solving the intricate Indo-Naga political issue and bringing out a frame work of peace agreement.<br/><br/>The Governor expressed his satisfaction that both the Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh and Mr Ravi has been meeting all the groups including civil societies, NGO's. <br/><br/>Naga HOHO's, Mother Association and all others including the individuals whose agenda is peaceful Nagaland and prosperous Nagaland.<br/><br/>During the meeting with the interlocutor, the Governor said that the State government with all the sixty Members will work hard with trust in each other to bring honourable implementation of all the clauses agreement.<br/><br/>Meanwhile, the members of the Nagaland Legislative Assembly had a five hour long closed door meeting with members of the NSCN IM.<br/><br/>The Chief Minister TR Zeliang in his speech at the meeting opined that all Nagas ought to support the Naga Peace Accord of August 3, as it came at a crucial phase towards final solution.
