The expert committee appointed by Central government led by its convener Noor-ul-Islam University Vice chancellor Dr A E Muthunayagam will inspect the Koodankulam Nuclear power plant today. The 15member committee includes Chennai Adyar Cancer Research Centre Chief Dr Santha, IAEA Radiation Protection Council former Director, Iyer, BARC former Director S K Mehta. After inspecting the Nuclear power plant for three days, the committee will reply to the 50 questions raised by the Tamil Nadu committee. The Tamil Nadu committee including protesters had raised these questions in the previous meeting held last Tuesday at Tirunelveli.
