Congress General Secretary Rahul Gandhi has accused the Madhya Pradesh Government of not implementing Centre's Bundelkhand package properly. The Union Cabinet had approved about 7300 crore rupees in November last for drought relief and integrated development of Bundelkhand. Talking to media in Bhopal on Wednesday, Mr Gandhi alleged, the other welfare schemes are also not being implemented properly in the state. Mr.Gandhi said that the Central government has constituted a committee to look into the implementation of Bundelkhand package. He said that the UPA government has made an increase of 70 percent in the central assistance to Madhya Pradesh, but funds for other programmes and schemes are not being utilized properly by the state government and the poor are not getting full benefit of these schemes. When asked about the Ayodhya verdict, Mr. Gandhi said that if the aggrieved parties want to file an appeal they could do so. He said that court's verdict does not condone the act of demolition of disputed structure and violence happened after it. When asked about his Prime Ministerial ambitions, Rahul Gandhi said, the country has a very capable Prime Minister in Dr Manmohan Singh and he is on the job.
