Information and Broadcasting minister M Venkaiah Naidu said that Centre's agenda is development and good governance. Talking to newspersons in Guwahati , Mr. Naidu said that people want development. He said , Prime Minister Narendra Modi is trying to bring major transformation in all walks of life. Hitting out at the opposition parties, the Union minister said that the BJP is only focused for the development of the country with Sabka Saath, Sabka Bikash mantra. <br/><br/>Mr. Naidu asserted that the Centre is going towards proper direction. He said that opposition parties are trying to get excused in the name of EVMs as they couldn't digest defeat. He said that EVMs were also used in 2004 and 2009 polls. He appealed the opposition parties to join hand for the cause of development. <br/><br/>He announced that a new TV channel, Arunprabha will be launched in August this year. He said that steps have been taken to encourage community radio in the North East region. Mr. Naidu also reviewed implementation of various schemes in North East of Urban Development ministry.
