A two-day get-together organised by the Centre to reach out to six minority communities concluded in New Delhi. Minority Affairs Minister Najma Heptulla said that they wanted to interact with representatives of minority communities to tell them about programmes the Government undertook for their welfare including skill development initiatives. The get-together was attended by Union Ministers Thawar Chand Gehlot and Jayant Sinha, RSS leader Indresh Kumar and representatives of several embassies and leaders of Muslim, Jain and Buddhist communities. Representatives of Christian, Sikh and Parsi communities attended the get-together on Friday.
