Centre working on Aadhar linked health scheme for 8 crore families: Nadda

Union Health Minister Mr. J.P. Nadda has said that centre is working on Aadhar linked health scheme covering 8 crore families of the country. Addressing the press conference at Ahmedabad in connection with celebration of BJP's foundation day today, Mr. Nadda said that the government is planning to provide one lakh annual health coverage to Economically Weaker Section of the society.<br/><br/>Replying to the media queries, Mr.Nadda said that every senior citizen in the family will get additional 30,000 rupees medical assistance through institutes which provide services. Union Health Minister has said that every hospital at par with the Community Health Centres in the country will get grading depending on various criteria including facilities and services. <br/><br/>AIR correspondent reports that Mr. Nadda was in Ahmedabad to participate in Bharat Mata Gaurav Kuch- march organised by the state BJP on the occasion of party's foundation day. Union Minister for Human Resources Development Mrs. Smriti Irani and Minister of State for Petroleum and Natural Gas Dharmendra Pradhan had participated in similar programs held at Vadodara and Surat respectively.
