The Prime Minister Dr. Manmohan Singh has assured that the Centre will take steps to ensure security of all citizens. Dr Singh met a delegation of Muslim community leaders at his residence in the National Capital yesterday. During the meeting, the delegation raised concerns about the communal situation in the country.

Dr. Singh told the leaders that the government has called a meeting of the National Integration Council on the 23rd of this month where all concerns will be looked into.
