The Union Human Resource Development Minister Smt Smriti Irani has said that government will take necessary steps to protect rights of shiksha mitras in Uttar Pradesh. <br/><br/>After meeting with a delegation of shiksha mitra at Amethi today, the Union HRD Minister clarified that any action would be taken by centre after receiving detailed report from the state government.<br/><br/>After the Allahabad High Court verdict, shiksha mitra have been continuing their agitations and boycotting their work for more than a week.<br/><br/>However, the Primary Shiksha Mitra Association has already said that the shiksha mitras will join their school work from tomorrow while wearing a black ribbon.<br/><br/>The Association Deputy General Secretary Ramesh Mishra told AIR correspondent this afternoon that a state level meeting of shiksha mitra association and other groups is being held in Lucknow today and the meeting will decide further course of action.<br/><br/>However the association had earlier decided that after the schools hours the shiksha mitra will sit on dharna in different areas at their block resource centres and education offices at district headquarters from tomorrow.
