Centre will provide all possible assistance for welfare of tribals in Tripura, says Arjun Munda

In Tripura, Union Minister for Tribal affairs Arjun Munda has assured the state government that the Centre will provide all possible assistance for the welfare of the tribal people in the state. During his one day visit to Tripura on Monday, he called on discussion with State Governor Ramesh Bais and Chief Minister Biplab Kumar Deb on matters of welfare prospects of tribal people in the state.<br />''<br />''While addressing media at the state guest house in Agartala, he said the central government was helping with open arms in the interest of the tribe of the state. He said that under the direction of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, he has come to inspect the overall condition of the central plan on the development of the indigenous people of the state. The financial, social, and regional balance of the indigenous will be maintained with the help of the central plan. Their overall development is a priority for the central government.<br />''<br />''<span style="color: #000000;">The role of the Tripura government in that endeavor is commendable, said the Minister. Mr.Munda also told the media that Prime Minister Narendra Modi wants to ensure quality education for tribal students at the highest level, following which the Ministry has taken the initiative to bring changes in the model and initiated efforts to upgrade the Ekalavya model schools across the country. He said the matter was also taken up with the state governments and their suggestions were incorporated in the process of upgradations.</span><br />
