The Centre will spend Rs. 424 crore on development of important places of Buddhist pilgrim. Our Gorakhpur correspondent quoting official sources reports that this includes development of Sarnath, Kushinagar, Kapilvastu and Shrawasti apart from developing Devdah-the maternal place of Lord Buddha. <br/><br/>The Buddhist circuit is also being extended to his maternal place. A road connecting Devdah to Gorakhpur-Sonauli highway is also being constructed at a cost of 129 Crore rupees with the help of Japan Government.<br/>
