The Government has decided to set up an Education Commission to make recommendations for improvement at all levels of education.

The Minister of State for Human Resource Development, Dr. D. Purandeswari informed the Lok Sabha in a written reply that the Constitution and Terms of Reference of the proposed Commission is being finalized by the government after wide consultations with all stakeholders.
