Centre to sensitise state Govt. and party leaders to maintain peace & harmony in the event of Ayodhya verdict

The centre has launched an initiative to sensitise State Governments and party leaders to maintain peace and harmony in the event of Allahabad High Court verdict on Ram Janma Bhoomi-Babri Masjid issue on Friday.Stating this in Bangaluru today, Union Minister for Health and Family Welfare Ghulam Nabi Azad , who is also AICC General Secretary and in charge of Karnataka, said, the party High Command had directed all the General Secretaries to visit their respective states and meet leaders to stress the need for maintaining law and order irrespective of the court verdict. He said there will be appeal against the HighCourt verdict and the Supreme Court's decision will be final. Azad said, Prime Minister Dr.Manmohan Singh had appealed to all sections of the people to maintain peace and tranquility.
