The Centre will send a team to Punjab to asses the damage to the cotton crops by WhiteFly. A few pockets of Fazilka, Mansa and Bathinda districts of the State are facing WhiteFly menace.<br/><br/>According to Agriculture Ministry, the five member team will be headed by Dr. S. N. Sushil, Plant Protection Advisor, Directorate of Plant Protection Quarantine and Storage, Faridabad. It will be visiting affected areas within two days.
