The government has decided to recruit forty thousand personnel for Central Para Military Forces. The recruitment will be done for BSF, CISF, CRPF, SSC and ITBPF.

The Home Ministry has roped in the Staff Selection Commission (SSC) for assistance in filling the vacancies.

An official release said, the recruitment would be on the basis of merit list drawn for each state by the Ministry.

AIR correspondent reports that a large number of vacancies are embarked for border districts, areas affected by left wing extremism and militant activities in different states.
