Centre to provide Unique Identity Cards to specially abled persons

Centre will soon provide Unique Identity Cards to the specially abled persons which can be used anywhere in the country. This information was given by Union Minister for Social Justice and Empowerment Thaawar Chand Gehlot in a Awareness workshop on Accessible India Campaign at Jaipur today. <br/><br/>He said that his ministry is also planning to extend the categories of specially abled people from 7 to 19. After this every person even with minor disability will be covered. He added his ministry has decided to establish five national sports centers for specially abled persons in India at different places. Apart from this district level centers will also be opened throughout the country.
