The Centre has said that it will provide an assistance of 400 crore rupees for developing airports at Agra, Allahabad, Kanpur and Bareilly in Uttar Pradesh. <br/><br/>An official release said, Minister of State for Civil Aviation Mahesh Sharma told media that efforts are underway to operationalize numerous airports in the State. <br/><br/>He said an airport at Kushinagar will also be developed for which the state government has provided 200 crore rupees. <br/><br/>Earlier, Mr Sharma held a review meeting at which Civil Aviation Secretary RN Choubey and other senior officials were present.
