Centre to provide all help to families displaced following shelling by Pakistan: PM

Prime Minister Narendra Modi today announced that the Centre will provide all help to the families living in the Indo-Pak border areas where peace has been disturbed following Pakistan's shelling. Addressing an election rally in Amaravati district this afternoon, he said that financial help will also be given to the families which have been removed from their villages to compensate their losses due to violation of ceasefire by Pakistan.

Criticising opposition parties for making statements on the issue he said that such issues should not be politicized for political gain. He reiterated that Indian Army has responded to the aggression with courage and in right way and the enemy has realized that times have changed and their old habits will not be tolerated.

He said that India Army has given a strong message in its actions to Pakistan and it has given the results and Pakistan has been forced to capitulate. He slammed the Congress for targeting the government on the issue through a public discourse and said that it demoralized the Army Jawans fighting on the border.
