Central government will soon launch a scheme under which about 500 medicines will be provided free of cost in Government District hospitals across the country.<br/><br/>Union Health Minister J. P. Nadda on Saturday said that Government is planning to provide 50 basic medicines in Primary health centres and 300 medicines in community health centers free of cost.<br/> <br/>Union Health Minister on Saturday inaugurated Government Medical College in Ambikapur of Chhattisgarh. <br/>Chief Minister Raman Singh was also present on the occasion. <br/>This Medical college will have 100 seats. <br/><br/>This is the eleventh medical collage of Chhattisgarh and first of tribal Surguja region. <br/><br/>Addressing the function Union Health Minister said that after completing the course medical students should try to give their services in the rural areas.
