The Government has decided to institute a new award for the Most Film-Friendly State or Union Territory under the National Film Awards this year. Information and Broadcasting Secretary Sunil Arora informed this while inaugurating the Public screening of Indian Panorama-2015 films in New Delhi today. <br/><br/>He said, the award will be conferred at the 63rd National Film Awards which will be held on 3rd May this year. Mr Arora said, it is part of the Government's effort to promote the Indian film industry.<br/><br/>He also informed that the government has decided to establish a Film Facilitation Office at the National Film Development Corporation premises. He said, the objective of setting up the office is to provide single window clearance to film makers and promote India as a Filming Destination. He said, it would also enable creating a film friendly environment in the country. <br/><br/>During the Indian Panorama Film Festival 26 feature films and 21 non-feature films in various Indian languages will be screened. Documentary film "Daughters of Mother India", directed by Vibha Bakshi and Bengali feature film "Cinemawala" directed by Kaushik Ganguli was screened today.<br/><br/>The public screening of the films selected in the Indian Panorama- 2015 is being organized by the Directorate of Film Festivals of Ministry of Information and Broadcasting at Siri Fort Auditorium Complex. The 11 days festival will continue till 29th of this month.
