Government has set up a national committee headed by the Prime Minister Manmohan Singh to commemorate the 150th birth anniversary of Swami Vivekananda. Union Information and Broadcasting Minister Ambika Soni on Thursday said in New Delhi that the Government will honour the country's greatest spiritual leader and visionary. While distributing Swami Vivekananda National Awards 2011, she added that government has taken steps by implementing Right to Education and opening vocational institutes in the far flung areas of the country to take the education system of the country to the greater height which is a tribute to Swami Vivekananda's ideology.
