Centre to build eight state of Art sports complexes in JNV

Centre will build eight state of Art sports complexes in Jawahar Navodyaya Vidyalayas in the country. Speaking after laying foundation stone of First Navodaya sports complex at Jawahar Nvoday Vidyalay at Balla in Raebareli today, the UPA chairperson Sonia Gandhi said that, the centre has decided to buildthese sports complex with all modern facilities to nurture sports talent and to provide atmosphere for holistic development of students of Navodaya vidyalayas. Mrs. Gandhi said that the Navodaya Vidyalayas are very much part of the dream of Late Prime Minster Rajiv Gandhi’s vision for 21st centaury India. She reiterated the commitment of UPA government for expansion of education to all sections of society and said that centre is providing all assistance to states including to Uttar Pradesh.Later Mrs. Gandhi attended a function of Bharat Nirman -Public Information Campaign prograames, which also started in Raibareily today. She watched the light and sound based play JAMUNIA which depicts the developmental history of India and women empowerment. The different media units of Ministry Information and Broadcasting are taking part in this programme.
