Minister for Social Justice and Empowerment Thawarchand Gehlot said that the Centre will bring Divyangs in the main stream of the country. <br/><br/>He was addressing a Regional Conference of Central Region of the Department of Empowerment of Persons with Disabilities (Divyangs) in Bhopal today. He said the government will make them participants in the development of the country. <br/><br/>Mr. Gehlot said that over 5300 camps have been organized for Divyangs in the country so far. Over seven lakh divyangs have been benefitted from these camps. <br/><br/>He said that the Centre has made 21 categories of Divyangs in place of seven categories. He directed officials to be ready to act in accordance with new rules and ensure that Divyangs get reservation given to them.
