Centre will write to all states to prescribe certain minimum educational qualifications for holding the office of Sarpanch. <br/><br/>Replying to a media query in New Delhi today, Women and Child Development Minister Maneka Gandhi said, all state governments must implement what Rajasthan government has done. <br/><br/>In 2015, Rajasthan and Haryana governments amended their Panchayati Raj laws and laid down minimum educational qualifications required to contest panchayat elections. <br/><br/>The Minister said, Rajasthan had done really a good thing, which should be replicated all over.
