The six-member Inter-Ministerial team headed by Mr. Lokesh Jha arrived in Chennai this afternoon to assess damage caused by cyclonic storm Thane.

Speaking to newsmen at the Chennai Airport, Mr. Jha said that the team would be holding a meeting with the State Government officials today in this regard. The team is expected to visit the cyclone hit areas tomorrow.
