Production Capacity of Remdesivir in the country has been enhanced thrice to reach around 1 crore 5 lakh vials per month. Minister of State for Chemicals and Fertilizers Mansukh Mandaviya has informed that in less than a month's time number of Remdesivir production plants in the country has been increased to nearly three times from 20 plants to 57 functional production plants as on date.<br />'' <br />''<span style="color: #222222;">Mr. Mandaviya said the centre is taking all necessary steps to substantially ramp up the production of anti viral drug Remdesivir amidst its growing demand in the country. The drug has reportedly been found to reduce hospitalisation duration of critically ill COVID patients.</span><br />
