Though the prices of Dal is a matter of concern, Central Government has succeeded in keeping control on inflation in general, said the Union Minister of state for Civil Aviation Jayant Sinha. <br/><br/>He was speaking with media persons today at Industrial Town Pimpari-Chinchwad near Pune. He said that during earlier regime of Congress led Government Inflation rate was above 10 per cent, and we have successfully kept it at the level of 6 to 7 per cent.<br/><br/>Mr. Sinha was in Pimpari – Chinchawad as a part of the campaign AZADI KE SATTAR SAL. He visited historic Chapekar Wada and met Disciples of Martyr Chapekar Bandhu. <br/><br/>Three brothers Damodar, Balkrishna and Vasudev Hari Chapekar were hanged to Death by then British Government in the year 1897. <br/><br/>Chapekar Bandhu Shot Dead British Officer W C Rand on 22nd June 1897 to take revenge of atrocities of British Rulers during Plague Epidemic in Pune.<br/><br/>While talking with media persons after his visit to Chapekar Wada Mr. Sinha said, our struggle is for development. <br/>He said that Central Government is committed and is implementing 70 schemes in different areas for all-round development of Nation.<br/><br/>Mr. Sinha accepted that Pune needs full-fledged international airport. He said that discussions are going on with State Government about expansion of Pune airport and something positive will definitely come out soon.
