Vice President M. Venkaiah Naidu today said the Centre and States should focus on providing quality public health facilities to people. Addressing a gathering after inaugurating a Free Medical Camp organized by a Corporate Hospital at Swarna Bharat Trust in Hyderabad, he said, medical colleges and medical institutions should organize awareness campaigns on disease prevention and adopting lifestyles.<br />''<span style="color: #222222;"><br />''Observing that people tend to neglect their health and basic precautions, the Vice President said, many a times they incur huge health care costs for treatment of ailments. <br />''<br />''He added that awareness on disease prevention is extremely important as prevention is better than cure. Pointing out that sedentary lifestyle and unhealthy dietary habits are leading to increase in non-communicable diseases, he said, regular physical activity should become part of daily routine for people of all ages. <br />''<br />''Telangana Governor Dr. Tamilisai Soundararajan was also present on the occasion.</span>
