The Centre has started a Pilot Project called the National Programme for the Health Care of Elderly in various districts of the country. In an exclusive interview to All India Radio, the Union Minister of Social Justice and Empowerment Mukul Wasnik said that initially 100 district have been indentified under the first phase of the project where medical treatment and equipments wiil be provided to the elderly person for health care.
