Parliamentary Affairs Minister Anant Kumar today said that the Centre stands with Anganwadi workers and will keep on working in their interest. He was making a statement in Lok Sabha during the Zero Hour. He said that the Karnataka government is not giving Anganwadi workers their dues. Due to this, they are agitating in the state. <br/><br/>Mr. Kumar said that the Karnataka government has not given details of 150 crore rupees given by the Centre as its share for Anganwadi workers. He said that many states have increased their shares and giving hiked honorarium to Anganwadi workers. Earlier, Congress leader raised the issue of agitation of Anganwadi workers in Karnataka. He demanded that the honorarium of anganwadi workers and share of the Centre should be increased.
