Centre stands by J&K govt for peace and development: PM

Prime Minister Narendra Modi has said that BJP led government's 'mantra'– "sabka saath, sabka vikas", backed by Atal Bihari Vajpayee's doctrine of 'insaniyat, kashmiriyat and Jamooriyat' will help Jammu and Kashmir to fulfill its dream of development. <br/><br/>Addressing a public rally at Katra in Jammu today, Modi said that Government of India is standing by Jammu and Kashmir government for peace and development. The Prime Minister maintained that former PM Atal Bihari Vajpayee had great love and attachment for Jammu and Kashmir and people of the State had the same for Atalji. <br/><br/>He further said that Jammu and Kashmir can contribute a lot in tourism sector and there are so many areas where Centre can help in promoting it adding that infrastructure is developing on a fast track in the state. The Prime Minister also reminded contributions of former Governor Jagmohan in developing and expanding Mata Vaishno Devi Shrine Board and Katra town.<br/><br/>Meanwhile, congratulating Chief Minister Mehbooba Mufti for being visionary like Mufti Mohammad Sayeed, the Prime Minister said, like her father, Mehbooba is also concerned for development of the state.
