Union Minister for Information Broadcasting and Urban Development M Venkaiah Naidu assured that the Centre would pass Women's Empowerment Bill very soon. He said that he was extremely happy to attend the historical event which was being attended by women from all walks of life from across the country which gets underway in Amaravati the new capital of Andhra Pradesh.<br/><br/>Addressing the first apolitical National Women's Parliament (NWP), a first-of-its-kind three-day conclave today he said, women needs to be empowered to give their voice to be heard and space to develop.<br/><br/>He said Discuss, Delay and Decide and Do not Disturb and Delay was the proponent given by the President of our country with respect to empowering women. He quoted Swami Vivekananda, who said there is no chance for welfare of the world unless condition of the women is improved in a society.<br/><br/>The National Women's Parliament is expected to set a benchmark of solutions for the problems being faced by women in various societies. The event will come out with the Amaravati Declaration on women empowerment at the end of the three-day deliberations.<br/>The conclave will be a common platform for women from diverse backgrounds like politics, arts and culture, sports, education, industry, media, cinema, judiciary and social sector to share their knowledge and research in the area of women's social, economic and political empowerment.
