Pakistani officials are working with its intelligence agencies to supply fake currency notes in India. This has been revealed by the latest intelligence reports in this regard. Official sources said that fake currency worth 14 crore rupees was recovered between January, 2006 and May, this year. A high level Committee headed by Union Home secretary, has been set up to monitor and draw a comprehensive strategy to combat this menace. Sates have also been asked to set up similar bodies. The RBI has also strengthened its mechanism for the detection of fake currency.<br/><br/>
