Centre has sent three companies of the National Disaster Response Force (NDRF) to Uttarakhand for helping in putting out flames and conduct rescue operations. <br/><br/>Official sources said that Prime Minister's Office has sought report from the Uttarakhand government over raging forest fires and assured all possible relief. <br/><br/>However, the Opposition Congress today slammed the BJP Government at the Centre for not taking due steps for controlling flames that left six people dead and destroyed 1,600 hectare forests.
