Union Minister for Communications and Information Technology Ravi Shankar Prasad said that the Union government is making better use of information technology to ensure transparent administration. Speaking at Kakinada in Andhra Pradesh yesterday the Union Minister said the Centre has saved one lakh crore rupees in the last two years by eliminating bogus beneficiaries of welfare schemes.<br/><br/>Addressing 'Vikas Parv,' the second anniversary of the Modi's government at helm of affairs Mr. Prasad said the BJP-led NDA's rule is ensuring transparency and handing over all the subsidies directly to the beneficiaries by making use of the information technology.
