Union Minister of State for Youth Affairs and Sports Ajay Maken has sanctioned an ex gratia assistance of 2 lakh rupees to Ms. Barbara J. Francis , a former National Hockey Player from National Welfare Fund for Sportspersons. According to an official release, Ms. Francis is suffering from ailments due to old age.
