The Centre has sanctioned a package of 1618 crore rupees for rehabilitation of displaced families in Kashmir Valley. This was stated by State Relief and Rehabilitation Minister Raman Bhalla in Jammu today. He said 3000 flats out of a total of 4200 for Kashmiri migrants are being constructed at a cost of 294 crore Rupees at Jagti in Nagrota township. These will be ready by December and the allotments will be made next year. He said the central government has also approved a revised proposal of 321 crore rupees for construction of additional accommodation including old age home, common facilities centre, shopping complex, post office and bank facilities there.He said pre-fabricated quarters to accommodate migrants had been constructed at Vessu in Anantnag district at a cost of 30 crore rupees.
