Centre has sanctioned nearly 360 crore rupees to 18 states, so far, for the welfare of dalits as part of its special assistance scheme. <br/><br/>The Social Justice and Empowerment Ministry, in a statement, said the amount has been sanctioned for this financial year under the scheme of Special Central Assistance to Scheduled Castes Sub Plan. <br/><br/>
