Centre has sent four BSF companies to violence-hit Basirhat in West Bengal. Sources in Home Ministry today said four additional companies, which were sent two days ago, were sent back by the state government. <br/><br/>This comes in the wake of West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee's allegations that Centre has a non cooperative attitude. Home Ministry sources also said that 11 BSF companies have been deployed in Darjeeling.
