The Centre has ruled out any proposal to set up a legislative assembly in the Union Territory of Lakshadweep. <br/><br/>In a written reply, Minister of State for Home Hansraj Gangaram Ahir told the Lok Sabha today that no representation or request has been received from any organization in this connection.
