Centre today released additional 120 Crore rupees for the earthquake affected areas of West Bengal. The Home Ministry said in a press release issued in New Delhi that the amount is in addition to over five hundred crore rupees already available with the State Government in State Disaster Response Fund. The amount was released after a verbal request made to an Inter-Ministerial Central Team which is on a visit to the affected areas to access the loss.
