The Centre has released 380 crore rupees against the pending Phailin assistance to Odisha. The financial assistance was released from Natural Disaster Relief Fund. A high level committee chaired by Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh cleared the proposal yesterday. The Committee examined the proposals based on the report of the Central team which visited Odisha affected by severe natural disasters.
