The government has released grant in aid worth of 199 crore rupees to the State Government of Madhya Pradesh for this fiscal under National Rural Drinking Water Programme (NRDWP).<br/><br/>The release has been made for execution of rural water schemes to provide safe drinking water facilities to rural habitations and schools. <br/><br/>According to release from the Ministry of Rural Development, around 102 crore rupees has also been provided to the State of Orissa for the implementation of drinking water scheme. <br/><br/>NRDWP , a component of Bharat Nirman, is one of the flagship program of Government with the objective to provide safe drinking water to all households in rural areas.
