The Centre has released an amount of 136.9 crore rupees to Maharashtra towards central assistance for post-matric scholarships for student's belonging to Scheduled Castes. Our correspondent reports the Post-Matric Scholarship for Schedule Caste Students Scheme is the single largest intervention by the Government for educational development of such students.
