The Centre today rejected West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee's charge that her phone was tapped when she was leading a movement at Nandigram nearly five years ago. Talking to reporters in New Delhi today, Home Minister Sushil Kumar Shinde said that no ones phones were tapped. Earlier in the day, Ms. Banerjee attacked the Union Home Ministry saying she was a victim of phone-tapping in the past.
