Replying to the questions during the Question Hour in the Rajya Sabha, Railway Minister Piyush Goyal said for providing better facilities to the passengers, Railway is moving ahead in the direction of commercialization. He stressed that entire control and ownership of the Railway lies with the Government.<br />''<br />''Mr. Goyal said, Railways need investment of 50 lakh crore rupees in the next 12 years for modernization, but due to budgetary constraint, this investment is difficult to be fulfilled by the government. <br />''<br />''He said, two and half times more investment has been made by the government during the last five years.<br />''<br />''Replying to the question, Minister of State for Railway, Suresh Angadi said that safety and cleanness is the priority of the government.</span><br />
