The Centre has received requests for opening regional centres of the New Delhi-based National School of Drama, NSD, from Andhra Pradesh and Telangana. The NSD Society has decided to set up a Committee to examine the modalities. Culture Minister Mahesh Sharma said this in a written reply in the Lok Sabha today. He informed the House that the Karnataka government has allotted land to set up a regional centre of the NSD in Bengaluru.
