The Centre has put all airports on high alert with a view to guard against any terrorist attack. The move came in the wake of the terrorist attack on Karachi airport on Sunday. Home Minister Rajnath Singh reviewed the security arrangements at airports with heads of security agencies at a meeting in New Delhi on Monday.

An official release said, during the meeting, the number of CISF Quick Reaction Teams has been increased and all security personnel have instructed to enhance their level of alertness.
