Union Environment and Forests Minister Prakash Javdekar has said that Centre is planning to introduce tree farming in India to increase the forest cover in the country. <br/><br/>Mr Javdekar said, his ministry is giving priority to forestry this year and wants to ensure that forest cover goes up. He was chairing a high level meeting of officials from Forests Ministry and Maharashtra government in Nagpur today. Mr Javdekar said, at present, the quality of forest is not satisfactory and his ministry wants to improve its quality as well.
