The Centre has offered all assistance to Delhi Government in fight against Dengue menace. Health Minister J P Nadda told reporters in New Delhi this evening that he has suggested the City government to intensify fumigation drive to check mosquito breeding.He said, all the hospitals under the control of Central government have been asked to keep sufficient number of beds for dengue patients. Mr Nadda said, the hospitals have also been directed not to deny admission to any dengue patient. <br/><br/>Meanwhile, Delhi government has converted its 55 dispensaries into Fever and Dengue Clinics to tackle the rising number of cases. These clinics will remain functional from 7 AM to 9 PM on all the days, including Sundays and holidays. The staff at these clinics will be deputed in double shifts so that check-ups of people with fever and suspected dengue complaints are done without any delay. Over 2,000 people have tested positive for the vector-borne disease in the city so far and more than 15 people have succumbed to the disease.
